Real Madrid and FC Barcelona battled on Sunday in the final of the Spanish Super Cup. Final score, 4-1.

The final of the Spanish Super Cup took place on Sunday in Saudi Arabia between Real Madrid and its historical rival, FC Barcelona. After losing to Barça last season, Real take revenge on the club blaugrana on a clear and flawless victory.

Real put pressure from the start to force Barca to back down. The option of Madrid will pay quickly since they opened the score quickly. Vinicius Jr took advantage of a bad draw from Jules Koundé to beat Inaki Pena (1-0, 7th). Only three minutes later, Real were already doubling the bet thanks to Vinicius, who found himself at the conclusion of a nice pass from Rodrygo (2-0, 10th).

Struck, Barça tried to react in the wake but Ferran Torres’ strike failed on the crossbar (13th). Real Madrid kept the pressure on the other side but the next goal will come from the Blaugranas. Robert Lewandowski reduced the score to 32nd on a superb recovery (2-1). But Real Madrid defeated Barca’s hopes of equalizing before the break with a new goal from Vinicius on penalty in the wake (3-1, 39′). Both teams returned to the dressing room with this advantage in the score of Real Madrid.

On the return of the locker room, Real raised their foot a little leaving the ball to Barça. But the Blaugranas could not do anything with the ball by falling on a good Madrid defense. The Barcelonans had several problems with Andriy Lunin when the defence was caught off guard.

Barça lacked realism but Real did not miss the opportunity to increase the score. In the 64th, Rodrygo put an end to Barça’s hopes of returning to the match by cheating Inaki Pena on a nice shot (4-1). Passed, Barca even finished at 10 after the exclusion of Ronald Araujo in the 74th minute for a foul on Vinicius. The score will not change and Real Madrid take the Spanish Super Cup after losing to Barça last season.
