Rugby: Fourth sell-out for RCV at La Rabine

The match RCV-Provence rugby, Friday, December 8, 2023, will be played to sold out. It will be the fourth time in six home games of the Vannetais club in Pro D2.

It was expected but it is now done. The RCV-Provence Rugby match in the Pro D2 championship on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 9 pm, will be played to sold out at La Rabine in Vannes (Morbihan).

For several days, there were only places left in front of the Lucien-Jaffré grandstand and this weekend, the last left. Proof of the popularity of the club’s extraordinary start to the season – nine wins, one draw and one defeat in eleven games – while the match is only a fortnight away.

With 11.415 spectators, in six home games, the RCV will have sold out four times while for the other two games, the Vannete enclosure had 9,664 spectators and 10.072 spectators, respectively, against Montauban and Valence Romans. After six games, 65,396 spectators supported the blue and white, an average of 10.899 spectators. As far as the public is concerned, the RCV is leading the pack.

Note that the meeting following this last block before the truce, will take place in La Rabine on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., against Angoulême. But the tickets will go on sale on December 9, at 2 p.m. And the club warns on its Facebook page: «Get ready! »
