Sports : Towards a solid and united team, vision of Brama Traoré, the new coach of the Stallions

The new coach of the Stallions, Brama Traoré, unveiled on Saturday, March 16, 2024, the list of 25 players who will represent the team during this month’s FIFA windows, as well as that of his technical staff.

Everything is now ready for the technician to make his debut. He clearly expressed his desire to create a strong team where the spirit of solidarity prevails, emphasizing the importance of the collective over individualities in football.

Traoré insists on the need to build a united team, where players work for each other. He notably regrets the lack of solidarity when Edmond Tapsoba scored an own goal during the 2023 AFCON, emphasizing that it affected the team and such an attitude is not acceptable. For him, unity and cohesion are paramount for progress together.

The coach also emphasizes the importance of having a fit and ready-to-fight team on the field. He states that the tactical system is important, but what really matters is how the players implement it on the field. He wishes to implement a system that highlights the players’ characteristics while promoting unity and solidarity.

As for the choice of captain, Traoré prefers not to comment for the moment, stating that he wants a disciplined leader who listens to others. He wants someone who represents his ideas and values on the field. His debut as coach of the Stallions is scheduled for the upcoming FIFA matchdays on March 22 and 26, 2024.
