The Escapades of Ebinto: Producer Charly Kodjo aims to bring the characters to life on screen

« The Escapades of Ebinto », the work of the renowned Ivorian author Amadou Koné, will soon be screened in cinemas. This piece, which has left its mark on the lives of many young people who grew up in French-speaking countries in Africa, will have its cinematic version produced by the « Instant de vie » studios.

This project, led by Ivorian producer Charly Kodjo, features a screenplay by Armand Gauz and is directed by Luc Gnepa. The film, “The Escapades of Ebinto”, a feature film lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes, aims to be closer to African audiences.

This cinematic adaptation tells the tale of a polite and helpful young man whose peaceful life is disrupted by the interference of two individuals. The story concludes with a tragedy that will surely bring tears to the eyes of cinema lovers.

« Our vision is to produce a work that brings the audience back to the theaters, to evoke new emotions through this adaptation. But also to bring back to life the Ivory Coast of the 1970s, in terms of atmosphere, costumes… », stated Charly Kodjo.
