The very surprising gesture of Kylian Mbappé with PSG

The Spanish press reveals some funny information about Kylian Mbappé’s file, whose future is set to be written in Madrid.

On Sunday afternoon, Kylian Mbappé started the match against Reims (2-2) on the bench. Coming in to play the last significant quarter of an hour of the match, the Bondynois nevertheless didn’t have time to make a difference. This situation, at this stage of the season, doesn’t surprise many anymore, as Luis Enrique no longer minces words with him.

While his future is set to be written in Madrid – as exclusively revealed by us on January 7th – the reputable generalist newsp aper El Pais explains that the French star could make a nice gesture towards his current club for a few more months. Paris Saint-Germain could indeed receive a small sum thanks to the player’s signing with the Liga leader.

How could PSG make money from the departure of a free player ? Well, the Iberian newspaper explains that Kylian Mbappé has proposed to give back a portion of the signing bonus he will receive at Madrid to PSG. This is a way to make peace with the Parisian management and to seek forgiveness by compensating his current club, which would not normally be entitled to any money in this matter.

With talks of a signing bonus around 100 million euros, PSG could therefore receive a portion of this amount, which could, for example, be used in part to recruit a replacement for KM7. This would be a second significant financial sacrifice from the Bondynois, who had already waived the famous loyalty bonus of 80 million euros. And a way to leave the capital through the front door…
