Togo: 1st ACNOA Zone 3 Games/Burkina Faso, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria and Togo in competition
Since Wednesday, December 6, the Togolese capital Lomé has hosted the first games in Zone 3 of the ACNOA. They bring together women’s teams from Burkina Faso, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria and Togo in disciplines such as handball, volleyball and 3*3 basketballs.
This competition promotes coexistence and sub-regional cohesion. «Through the ACNOA Zone 3 Games, we will want to foster the development of talent, the development of Olympic champions, and enable our athletes to compete with their opponents in the sub-region.region and further boost the level of Olympism in zone 3 in an international dimension», said NOC Togo President Akpaki Deladem at the launch of the activities.
