In its cultural development plan and promotion of local and international artists, the commune of Agoè-Nyivé 1, led by Mayor Kovi Adanbounou, has appointed King Mensah, the talented Togolese artist who shines the light on Togo internationally, as “Culture Advisor”.
To kick off his cultural agenda, the artist-culture advisor announces a grand live concert for March 31, Easter day, at the Agoè-Centre High School grounds. He will be on stage with a host of fellow artists to make the evening unforgettable.
According to him, it’s about introducing himself to the public of this commune as an ambassador of Togolese music and a cultural advisor. « We have many projects for this commune. Our motto is to make it the capital of Togolese music, why not of Africa », he declared.
For the mayor, who aims to make culture and leisure a driving force for the development of his commune, King Mensah is the right person for the job. Thanks to his rich experience and background, he will be able to serve the commune to achieve its objectives. The appointment is therefore set for March 31 to take part in this first activity of the culture advisor near the commune of Agoè-Nyivé 1.
