Togo – Australia: President Faure Gnassingbé’s active diplomacy strengthens cooperation

On Tuesday, February 18, Australia’s High Commissioner to Togo, Bérénice Owen-Jones, met with Prime Minister Victoire Dogbé. During this meeting, Australia reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening its ties with Togo.

The two countries discussed several key areas of cooperation, with a focus on agriculture, social issues, and security. Australia expressed its intention to support Togo in the development of its agriculture and the empowerment of women. Bérénice Owen-Jones emphasized her country’s commitment to working more closely with the Togolese government to strengthen human capacities and promote sustainable development.
