Togo: Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor has retrained as a university teacher.
After representing Togo on the green fields for many years, Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor recently retired from international football.
He is now active in many fields outside sport. One of the areas in which he is making a name for himself is agriculture.
Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor has signed a partnership agreement with the UNDP to train young Togolese.
On Monday 5 June, a new door opened for the former captain of the Sparrowhawks. Through his Foundation, he has signed a partnership agreement with the University of Lomé.
This partnership gives the Togolese legend several responsibilities. One of these is Adebayor’s involvement with the National Institute for Youth and Sports (INJS).
From now on, Sheyi will become a teacher at the institute. He will probably be giving a course in sport.
