Togo: President Faure Gnassingbé calls for action at the Business Forum and G20 Compact with Africa Conference in Berlin

On November 20, 2023, H.E. Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, President of the Republic, actively participated in discussions at the Business Forum and the G20 Compact with Africa Conference in Berlin. During these events, the Head of State addressed persistent challenges related to access to energy in Africa and discussed promising opportunities to boost the sector on the continent.

In his speech, President Gnassingbé congratulated Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the initiatives undertaken and significant announcements made by the Federal Republic in support of energy. H.E. Faure Essozimna emphasized the crucial importance of transforming discussions into concrete actions, urging all international partners to increase their investments in the energy sector in Africa.
