Togo : President Faure Gnassingbé transforms the Togolese economy with the Adétikopé Industrial Platform

Under the insightful vision of President Faure Gnassingbé, Togo is entering an era of economic prosperity through the Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA). This ambitious initiative, at the core of the government’s strategy, aims to create an environment conducive to industrialization, economic growth, and job creation.

Located about twenty kilometers from Lomé, the PIA enjoys a strategic position facilitating access to transport infrastructure and ports, thus attracting both national and foreign investors. This state-of-the-art platform offers tailored infrastructure for various industries, ranging from manufacturing to logistics and technology.

The benefits for companies choosing the PIA are numerous, including tax incentives, streamlined investment procedures, access to a skilled workforce, and connectivity to regional and international markets. The goal is to diversify the economy by encouraging the establishment of businesses in sectors such as agro-industry, logistics, renewable energy, and technology.

Committed to sustainable development, the PIA incorporates environmentally friendly practices, also fostering innovation and research. The year 2023 marked initial success, with Arise, one of the park’s operators, launching a thriving textile industry, transforming 75.000 tons of soybeans.

The social impact is significant, with the creation of 3.000 direct jobs, thereby strengthening the local workforce. The PIA model also inspires beyond borders, with Arise developing similar projects in Benin and other West and Central African countries.

In summary, the Adétikopé Industrial Platform symbolizes President Faure Gnassingbé’s commitment to economic transformation. By catalyzing industrialization, diversification, and sustainable development, the PIA paves the way for an era of economic prosperity for Togo.
