Togo : Togolese Prime Minister Victoire Dogbé officially supports the Ahoé Web Series
The web series « Ahoé » has received support from Togo’s Prime Minister, Victoire Dogbé. Angela Aquereburu, the series producer, was received by the Prime Minister in Lomé on January 30, 2024, where she secured official government backing.
During the audience, Angela Aquereburu expressed her request for support, highlighting the enthusiasm generated by the « Ahoé » web series among the Togolese people since its release on social media starting December 1.
This meeting comes shortly after the launch of a crowdfunding campaign on social media by the series promoters, aiming to raise 200 million CFA francs for the production of Season 2.
In a tweet, Prime Minister Victoire Dogbé praised the quality of the « Ahoé » series, emphasizing the talents, values, and Togolese culture it conveys. She congratulated the team for their work and assured the continued support of the Togolese government for the ongoing « Ahoé » adventure.
The « Ahoé » web series currently boasts 68,000 subscribers and over 3.17 million views for its 46 published videos, demonstrating its impact and growing popularity among the Togolese audience.
