Togo: Under the impetus of President Faure Gnassingbé, the government is stepping up its innovations for quality education
The Togolese government, under the leadership of President Faure Gnassingbé, continues its dynamic approach to innovation for quality education by instituting annual school forums. Starting this academic year, these meetings, organized during the second break of the school year, will bring together teachers, parents, and local authorities to strengthen the synergy between schools, families, and communities.
Through constructive exchanges, these forums will allow for the adoption of practical recommendations aimed at improving the educational environment and the involvement of each stakeholder in the success of students.
Aligned with local realities, the themes discussed will focus on major issues such as pedagogical effectiveness, the integration of technology in teaching, parental involvement, and the promotion of civic behavior. This initiative reflects the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education’s ambition to build a strong educational system centered on collaboration and collective commitment.
The establishment of these forums fully supports the presidential vision of a school that serves the development and well-being of young people. It further strengthens the focus of the 2024-2025 school year, which is dedicated to “education for the real-life skills of the future”, thus illustrating the government’s desire to adapt education to the demands of the modern world.
