Togo : UNIR-Grand Lomé prepares its activists for upcoming elections

The second phase of the political training for the Union for the Republic party (UNIR-Grand Lomé) took place on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the headquarters in Lomé, bringing together leaders from communal structures.

The proceedings, led by experienced activists such as ASSIAH Esso, Germaine Kouméalo ANATE, PERE Aïcha, and Kanka-Malik NATCHABA, National Delegate of the UNIR Youth Movement, aimed at refining methods to achieve new successes.

According to the Vice President of UNIR-Grand Lomé, Mémounatou IBRAHIMA, the objective was to deepen discipline as a pillar of cohesion within the party, civic responsibility, and activism, government achievements in the Golfe prefecture and the autonomous district of Grand Lomé, communication techniques, and the government’s roadmap.

The activist emphasized that the discussions were beneficial, addressing essential topics to prepare the members for future election campaigns. She stated that the participants expressed the desire to organize additional training sessions to deepen their knowledge.

The trainers also took the opportunity to provide advice and share their political experience with the participants. According to the activists, these training sessions aim to prepare the UNIR party for upcoming elections, demonstrating their readiness and commitment as a political party.
