World : Niger leads global economic growth in 2024
The recent publication by the Economic Commission for Africa reveals encouraging prospects for the year 2024. According to this study, Niger is ranked among the five nations displaying the fastest economic growth globally.
This dynamic is largely attributed to a significant increase in production and exports in the hydrocarbon sector, which represents a significant portion of the national economy.
The economic of Niger growth is also driven by the resurgence of agricultural activity, a vital sector for food security and employment, as well as an increase in crude oil production, benefiting notably the transportation sector by improving fuel supply.
These remarkable performances are the result of the tireless efforts of General Abdourahamane Tiani and his collaborators from the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Homeland (CNSP), who worked to stabilize the country and create an environment conducive to investment and economic development.
This positive trend underscores Niger’s economic growth potential and demonstrates the authorities’ commitment to diversifying and strengthening the national economy.
By capitalizing on these successes, the country can envisage a promising and prosperous future, offering employment opportunities, improving infrastructure, and promoting a better quality of life for its citizens.
