Burkina Faso: The president Ibrahim Traoré is having a stay in Bobo-Dioulasso

Very active in the war for the liberation of his country, Faso, the Head of State Ibrahim Traoré regularly makes field visits to inquire about the progress of the security operations initiated in recent months.

It is in this context that he has been staying in Bobo-Dioulasso, the region of Hauts-Bassins (western Burkina), since Wednesday, April 25th.

 The Governor of the Hauts-Bassins region, Colonel Moussa Diallo welcomed him upon his arrival.

According to the official website of the Presidency, the stay of Captain Ibrahim Traoré in this city, the economic capital of Burkina, is not restful.

His schedule includes a meeting with the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) of the Bobo-Dioulasso garrison to learn about the progress of operations and the challenges they face in carrying out their mission.

 This meeting also aims at encouraging them to continue the fight until final victory.

The transitional President will also proceed on Saturday, April 29, 2023, to the opening of the ceremony for the 20th edition of the National Culture Week (SNC).

Captain Ibrahim Traoré, will also preside over the weekly Cabinet meeting, which will take place this week in Bobo-Dioulasso.
